A real quick way on how to tell if it is your energy or someone else’s energy.
As an empath, highly sensitive person, highly intuitive psychic being, I FEEL ALOT!! Like – EVERYTHING! Der, don’t need to tell you that do I! You get it! I know 🙂
I used to struggle ALOT with trying to figure out if it was my energy or someone else’s and that was probably my first biggest mistake – I didn’t even ask or think it was someone elses, I just thought it was all me.
And then I realised, hang on, it isn’t all me.
And then I banished alot of people in my life, because of their ‘bad energy’ – get away from me! It’s YOU that is the problem! I would say… and you know what that is doing? Oh, hello 3 fingers pointing back and me and 1 pointing at them.
And then I realised, sometimes it is me.
And sometimes it is them.
Yet, it takes practise – to know if it is your stuff – or theirs.
We, especially us ‘spiritual’ people, can be very quick to throw the blame onto those people and banish everyone from our lives and wind up feeling very lonely with a locked away closed heart and wonder why we are so sad and alone most of the time.
Usually, it is this process of waking up – the 3 stages, until we come to a place of being VERY clear in who’s stuff is what and ‘where’ and ‘why’.
And we become VERY good at owning our own stuff and looking within rather than saying a word at all.
We attract everything.
No matter what industry.
No matter what country.
No matter what situation.
If there is resonance inside you – you will attract it.
It is the Law of Attraction.
Now, the quickest way to tell if it is your stuff or somebody else’s?
I LOVE using the mantra – it’s not mine, it’s not mine, it’s not mine. I say this over and over again.
And then, if it isn’t mine, the feelings will start to dissipate.
But if they are mine, then it won’t really shift it.
The other factor to be mindful of, that is a very clear giveaway if you are carrying somebody else’s energy, is that if you are feeling fine, happy and going about your day and then all of a sudden feel sad, to the point of wanting to cry. I find that if I feel like this, but can’t actually cry, then it isn’t mine, but I am connected to someone who is sad and needs/wants/is crying.
You can always put your hand on your heart/body and ask ‘Who’s energy is this’ and then trust who comes to mind when you ask a question.
Alot of Empaths are Healers. And it is through feeling, that we heal others. (I speak deeply about this in my upcoming book, The Handbook for Ancient Blooded Healers). Yet, we need to train ourselves on how to do this, without getting stuck in other’s emotions and carrying them for them, we cannot process what is not ours, but we can shift stuff – very easily by allowing it to pass through us.
