If you have been holding onto things are less than nourishing you on all levels – body, mind & soul, you may be going through a ‘spring cleaning’ and making changes that will help you to be nourished in ways that are more in alignment with your Soul’s calling. When we are nourished (Stomach/Sacral Chakra) this is when we step out of survival mode. Our head clears. We are able to be nourished by more than just food. Yes we still need to eat, but this becomes less of the focus as move away from food being the only source of sustenance. We are filled with a spiritual sustenance. Many quick fixes naturally fall away when nourished in this sustainable and deeply fulfilling way. There may be alot of grief coming to surface at this time and feelings of nostalgia, we may be grieving that ‘home’ feeling, which is this lack of deeply fulfilling spiritual nourishment, we find when our Sacral Chakra is being ‘fed’ in this balanced way. When we worry (Spleen & Pancreas associated with our Sacral), we tend to lean towards comfort foods, drinks and things to medicate our feelings and alleviate stress. We are not at peace. Our Lightfilled Yoga Sacral Chakra class, is designed to help balance and nourish our Sacral Chakra. We ‘calm down’ instead of ‘thinking’ our way through things and we are more able to ‘be’ present to life in a more peaceful way.
