YOU HAVE BROKEN GENERATIONAL PATTERNS

The other day I broke down crying - hard.

"Awww, this is their life as teenagers hey?" I said to my best friend, whose our daughters are enjoying their teenage lives together as best friends.

It wasn't that 'they are best friends' and I didn't have that close a best friend growing up..

It was that in the moments my heart filled with grace and such deep love and appreciation for my daughter and how proud of her I am of who she is becoming - what made me cry - hard, was the pure fact that as I witness my daughter now, going on 15... I had a flashback to when I was 14-15...

Hanging around the back of the cinema and shopping centre complex on weekend nights, drinking Jack Daniels Bourbon straight out of the bottle and hiding said bottle in my big Adidas puffer jacket whilst walking around the ovals and parks in the black of the night conversing with everyone as they would come up to warn me of the girls above my year getting ready to bash me, so to be on high alert and ready.

Or, leaving for school at 6:30am in the morning, because 'I had to do early school work' which meant, meet my best friend at the time to smoke bongs in the bush before school, to then also, be on high alert all day at school for same said girls above my year that continued to say they were going to bash me.

They never did. Perhaps because somewhere deep down they knew a fiery dark feminine rage would pour upon them like wildfire alit with fuel they would not be able to put out... I guess.

I cried hard realising this... I must've broken something, for my daughter is so, so far from the life I had like that and in those deep hard tears, all the hard moments of life, all the 'am I doing this right', all the 'did I make the right choices', all the 'what am I doing this on my own for, away and mostly estranged from 'unhealthy family ties' suddenly in those deep, hard tears this week... somewhere it felt like I swooped up my inner teenager and brought her to the here and now (Inner Child Healing) and showed her where we are now, reminded her that everything she has done, stood for and walked for and away from - even though the footsteps she has taken, have been the only ones breaking the first marks in the sand, has all been worth it.

You have broken generational patterns. Bask in this new frequency, because this is what you did it all for in the first place.

Witness your success.

Bathe in it.

Honour it.

It has all been worth it.

Now... what do you get to create from this place? From this new frequency?

The one of freedom, love, joy, abundance and the entire reason you healed your traumatic past and did all the work for in the first place?

P.S. Yes, this is a photo I use pretty much all the time I talk about my now almost 15 year old daughter.
